Make some dough with an Auntie Anne’s franchise

Published: 24 January 2020

Does becoming part of the world’s largest soft pretzel franchise sound interesting to you? Does handcrafting delicious baked goods on the shop floor or high street sound tasty?

Auntie Anne’s has more than 2,000 stores globally, including 40 in the UK and Ireland, with lots of new stores in the pipeline to open in the first quarter of 2020. The brand specialises in soft pretzels and other baked items, such as pretzel nugget bites, pretzel hot dogs, pretzel pizza and much more. Each product is handcrafted from scratch at each store and sold within 30 minutes of leaving the oven to guarantee the freshest pretzel possible.

The investment for the franchise is between £145,000 and £180,000, depending on the size and format of the store. From this, generally, 30 to 40 per cent would need to be your own cash; the rest can be raised through funding.

Auntie Anne’s is looking for franchisees that ideally have some experience with food retail and managing a team of staff. A franchisee should have an interest in driving sales and local marketing activities that can attract customers and retain them. Having a passion for baking and cooking is also a big benefit!

Auntie Anne’s will be on stand E240 at The British & International Franchise Exhibition on 31 January and 1 February at Olympia London.
