Farhat Abbiss opened the new store on 30 May, only a few months after the launch of the bakery’s first franchised branch in Mere Green, Birmingham.
The Eastleigh bakery hopes to complement existing local stores and will showcase a range of craft products, including sandwiches, savouries, scones, artisan breads, cakes, sweet treats and the company’s award-winning Cornish pasties.
Mark Sullivan, chairman of Warrens Bakery, says: “After a hugely successful few months since the Mere Green opening, we are delighted that we can now cater for Eastleigh. With a track record for running successful franchises in the area, we are looking forward to working with Farhat and his team in the next stage of our development.
“We are moving rapidly into franchising with 100 new stores in the pipeline in the next five years, and have 20 more signed to open this year.”
Warrens Bakery has over 150 years of baking experience, with over 50 stores throughout the South West. In 2016, the company won several accolades at the British Pie Awards and the World Pasty Championships.
